Great books, good readers, and you cant beat the price! To the folks that commented about it needs a timer so it can shut off automatically, it does have one! I periodically turn the timer on accidentally and then am surprised when the story shuts itself off!

This app has always been my favorite for listening to Librivox books. For a while the app had an annoying bug which was subsequently fixed. The app is easy to use and reliable, perfect for listening while traveling!

Love the classics. Love the people at Librivox. Love this app. The readers are not voice actors, they are folks like you and me. Their voices and talents are diverse and quirky and real. I thoroughly enjoy listening to these wonderful recordings.

Wonderful to listen to great books while working. Some of the readers are not brilliant but others are fabulous and they are all volunteers. Id be lost without this app.

Had an iPhone for at least 3 years. Never bought an app before this one. I figured $0.99 for >4,000 audio books was an incredible deal. It turned out to be a big disappointment. I have a great wifi connection, but the app doesnt handle multiple downloads, will drop even single downloads, and the single downloads it doesnt drop take forever. Ive managed to download only the first chapter of each of two books. Attempts at downloading the second chapter of either book have resulted in complete stall-outs or utter drops. Why did I pay for this app?! Theres a sucker born every minute. I must be a newborn.

This app is a staple for me to listen to books while I do other things whether its painting or cleaning or riding in the car. I cant think of anything better to do with my time.

Im not a reader but man for a dollar you cant bet this. Just downloaded it and there seems to be a nice selection but not seeing a lot of newer books or and movie books like lord of the rings.

I gave 5 stars because it is free - occasionally Ive come across a reader that just doesnt cut it - like students leaning English and the accents are distracting. But for the vast majority they are pretty good - not pros but pretty good.

I think this is a great collection of books to draw from. I have a lot from other sources, but it is a treat to have these.
