Regret buying this app No recent or modern books at all

Until this app I wasnt a fan of audio books, but now Im liking it. The one function of audio books Ive grown to enjoy is having my family gather on the sofa and simply listen to the stories! At first it was an odd concept, but not any more. Sure beats watching tv!!

I love audiobooks. There are so many books to choose from and I enjoy the history and language that comes from old books. I can listen while driving or resting.

I play this often and continue to have fun!

To rest our eyes and listen to a wonderful piece of literature is very relaxing for me. I love this App.

I really enjoy this App so very much but I ran into a problem here in Idaho when we had 70 mile a hour winds knocking out all the power....because this App only down loads 3 chapters at a time I couldnt enjoy my book I was listening too...I was stuck right in the middle of a book with no way to get other chapters.....I wish the App would let you down load the whole book....I know it would of help while I was out of power for a couple of days.....I love and enjoy this APP very much..

Audiobooks has permitted me to "read"- actually hear so many wonderful classics I have long known about but never read. They are a highlight of my day. After working-reading & writing all day as an attorney, my eyes are too tired to read more. And if one is ever agitated and unable to sleep, the Audiobook will divert your mind, calm you, entertain you and put you to sleep. The absolutely best therapy! Thank you for this invaluable service.

I think this app is a great value and performs a wonderful function, exactly what I need. However, this version doesnt seem to allow me to control the app from the lock screen on my iPhone 6s. Even with that non-functional piece, I think this app is worth every penny!

Excellent method of obtaining Librivox classic audiobooks and listening to them. I rated it as 4 stars only because it remains in portrait mode on my iPad where I listen most. It is stable- I have not experienced one crash to date after nearly one years use.

Absolutely love all the audiobooks. Great to listen to when Im heading to bed and while Im on the go. Contains a lot of older stories which are sometimes harder to come across especially when you dont have the time to read them yourself. A big thanks to all of the volunteers and librivox for making this all free and accessible.
